To be honest the inclusion of a gun caused a lot of internal debate for me.  On one hand I was concerned that the inclusion of a fire arm might give the series too much of a Hollywood action vibe.  On the other hand, to do what Doghan does, where he does it, clearly requires some sort of armament.   This gun is a Sig Arms P245.  When I was writting the script I took for granted that Parasyte has no internet and just assume the refference materials were at his finger tips.   I now know to supply the man with photos if I'm referencing a real life item.
