Steele's Commentary
As the asterisk indicates there was supposed to be a footnote on this page explaining the lucidity comment.  Lucidity is used in many context to describe the understanding that what one's experiencing isn't real (ie. knowing you're dreaming).  Since all of this takes place in Mathos' head  none of it's real.  This knowledge, like in dreams, comes with a small amount of power.  Doghan was using this power to remain invisible to the actors within Mathos' flashbacks.
